For all their politicking, the Rockliff Government today must answer one simple question.
Do they support measures to genuinely fix the issue of ambulance ramping in Tasmania, or not?
Tasmanians deserve clarity.
The ambulance ramping inquiry provided a range of critical findings and recommendations to address this critically important issue, but the government has never provided a proper response. It is pretty clear they are ignoring many.
Why would the Government not support recommendations that will deliver real results, ensuring ambulances can get back out into the community delivering lifesaving care quicker, and that our hospitals function better for all?
Of course we need to get ambulances back on the road sooner, but the government needs to stop pretending this is a simple issue. It’s time they got on board with putting in place deep and lasting solutions.
