Nurses have been stretched to breaking point for months now, trying their best to care for the growing number of patients in their waiting rooms and corridors. They’ve consistently reported declining staffing levels and a lack of resources, which has resulted in overwork and burn out.
The ANMF hasn’t taken industrial action lightly. It’s the result of months of raising their concerns with the Liberal Government to no avail.
The Liberal Government’s underfunding of our health system has real impacts for real people. It’s the nurses, and the patients they’re struggling to care for, who are feeling the Liberal’s choice to fund a billion-dollar stadium over our healthcare system.
