After being embarrassed on national television, Minister Ellis today released a report detailing what was already publicly known about off-island native forest timber processing.
The only thing that hadn’t been already revealed on the ABC’s Four Corners was the massive volume of logs being sent to Victoria – nearly 5,000 m3 since the start of 2024.
After years of denying knowledge about logs being shipped to Victoria in Parliament, and again on national television, Minister Ellis is today telling people what they’ve long known. The question remains, when did the Minister actually find out?
