You may have almost answered this previously, but can you tell us at what point did government seek legal advice on potential validation issues with the State Coastal Policy, which I remind members has served the state quite well for 28 years? At what point did government seek that legal on decisions that have been made that were impacted by the State Coastal Policy. Was it following the TASCAT process, or was it after the Robbins Island proponent got in touch with you for a little text chat?
ANSWER
Mr President, and I thank the member for the question and her interest in the matter. You referenced the text chat which was in anticipation of the outcome of the TASCAT hearing in November, I believe, last year. The government became aware of a change in the application of coastal policy in March this year in relation to a different, unrelated matter.
