Yesterday, we heard minister Jaensch describe the previous commitment of past premier Gutwein to close Ashley in 2024 as a 'political decision'.
I want to thank the Leader of the Opposition for bringing this motion on today and I can confirm that we will be strongly supporting the independent review.
For change to be successful, it needs to not only be done, but it needs to be seen to be done.
It is a monumental piece of work that has been done by the commission of inquiry.
