The last year has been an incredibly uncertain one for the workers at Liberty Bell Bay. I want to acknowledge the stress that workers and their families continue to endure. Reports that there have been delayed wage payments are also very concerning.
The Greens appreciate the government’s update on Liberty Bell Bay’s loan default, and the steps taken to secure Tasmanian funds. We expect they will continue to do everything possible to secure the jobs of these workers.
