He gave a long life of service to Tasmanians in this parliament. He was elected in 1976 as the Liberal member for Wilmot, now Lyons, until 1996.
I rise tonight to honour the life of a true champion of democracy and strong public representation in here, Peter Chapman.

The Ukraine sovereign country was and is peaceful at heart. It has, at its core, a desire to strengthen democracy. It is a sovereign nation.
