Ms O’CONNOR question to MINISTER for PARKS, Mr DUIGAN
Can you confirm, as the minister responsible for this marine reserve, that the EPA is investigating the impact of the mass mortality event and the potential dumping or depositing of offal in that reserve, and advising and working with Parks on it?
ANSWER
Mr President, I thank the member for the question. Again, I encourage you, as the member for Hobart, if you have information of that nature, if you have that sort of information, please provide it to the EPA.
Ms O’Connor – It has already been provided to the EPA.
Mr DUIGAN – In terms of any impact on Ninepin Point Reserve, the Parks and Wildlife Service will undertake monitoring of the area as required.
