Dr WOODRUFF - In 2021, the former CEO, Mike Brewster, met with the chair and the CEO of the Aboriginal Land Council of Tasmania, to talk about the possibility of handing back to the Aboriginal community, the land around Risdon Brook Dam. You probably realise it’s one of the most significant cultural places in Tasmania, it borders right next to piyura kitina. It was a discussion that felt prospective and open at the time. I understand there hasn't been any action from TasWater since then.
Have you had anything to do with the Aboriginal Land Council?
Mr THEO - Personally, I haven't. I actually received a letter yesterday. Matt and I will go and speak to the council and we'll work through the matter. I can't provide any more information than that, because I'm actually not aware of what the prior discussions were or if there were any commitments.
